Responsibilities:
- Design and develop machines, testers, jigs & fixtures by applying mechanical engineering principles to meet functional, quality, and cost requirements.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers throughout the project lifecycle to ensure smooth execution and on-time delivery.
- Participate in external meetings to define practical project scopes and technical requirements in alignment with customer expectations.
- Provide technical support to the production team to resolve process-related issues and improve operational efficiency.
- Prepare, review, and maintain engineering documentation, including fabrication drawings, technical specifications, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance manufacturability, assembly efficiency, and product quality using DFM/DFA principles.
- Conduct FMEA and risk assessments during the early design phase to ensure robust, reliable, and safe mechanical designs.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience is preferred.
- Fresh graduates with strong fundamentals and eagerness to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Basic proficiency in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, NX, CATIA, or Creo.
- Strong passion for mechanical design, product development, and engineering innovation.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes is an added advantage.
- Interest in learning stress analysis, FEA, and mechanical simulation tools.
- Willing to travel for training or on-site project support when required.
- Good command of English; proficiency in Mandarin or Malay is an advantage.
